In and around the villages where the Neighbor Kwa Jirani Foundation works, many schools are so short on desks that they are not able to give each child a proper working area. Also, most of the desks that do exist are poorly made and rough to use.
The Foundation works with local businesses to manufacture long lasting metal desks with a smooth wooden seat and top.
